Apple Cheeks came across some really cute felt crafts from Pinterest. Among those lovely felt animals and flowers, she particularly likes the brown felt gingerbreadman. So, we made this on Christmas day. It was my first time making felt gingerbread man but I was pretty sure it was an easy project :). Felt is a friendly material for crafting because it won't fray. I often use it and I think felt crafts are cute.
Aha…we can't eat it but we turned it into a hair pin. The girls like it. Cute!
Making Felt Gingerbread Man
1. Draw two gingerbread man outline on a felt. Then cut them cut.
2. Stitch the two pieces of felt gingerbread man together. Before you completely stitch to join them, stuff some scrap felts in between the felt. Then stitch to join them up.
3. I used fabric paint to make the eyes. You can also use black beads as eyes by using glue to paste it on.
4. Add a tiny ribbon on the gingerbread's neck. Done!
