For this Easter , we made colorful hard boil eggs,  then decorated it with lovely sugar hearts. We dyed the egg shell instead of the white inside. Dyeing eggs is a fun activity for kids and family.

Steps

Dye hard boil egg  shell.

1) In an empty bowl, fill in water, one drop of food dye and a teaspoon of vinegar. Make sure the water in the bowl is enough to cover the egg. (I dyed the egg one at a time).

2) Put one egg in the bowl to dye for  10 minutes.

3) Leave them to dry.

3) Paste the little colorful sugar hearts by glueing them with corn starch.

How to prepare corn starch

Corn starch is absolutely easy to prepare. I added one and a half oz of boiling water into one tablespoon of corn flour. Then stir it. Done!
