DIY skirt

Yesterday I did a simple skirt for my daughter with the left over cloth that I had. It was pretty simple to sew.  Below is the simplest skirt pattern for those who would like to try to make one like mine.

1) One rectangle piece of cloth.  Width is about two and half times the size of your waist, you can cut it slightly lesser than that (the allowance width allows more waves). Measure the length that you want.

2) Cut one elastic sewing rubber which is double the size of your waist.  Sew the rubber on (A). Pull the rubber when you sew it.

3)  Fold the piece of cloth into half to sew (B). When this stage is done, you can see the shape of  a skirt.

4)  I folded about 2cm up from bottom (C). So that your cutting line is neatly hide inside.

Sew the A, B, C part on the reverse side of the material.
